The centre specialises in sociolinguistics, language planning and policy, applied linguistics, language education and teaching, language law, linguistic anthropology and geography, and politics, culture, economics and society in relation to language.

It is part of the network of Specialized Libraries of the Generalitat (BEG). Its collection can also be consulted at the University Union Catalogue of Catalonia (CCUC).

The public opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2.30 pm. In order to be able to offer you a more efficient service, we suggest you to make an appointment at cddgpl@gencat.cat.

There is no need to ask for an appointment to return works on loan. You can send them directly to the Centre or to the Language Policy Department, specifying the name of the person and the addressee.
